7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Shore Road School; 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Norman J. Levy Lakeside School; 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Newbridge Road School; 2-10 p.m. Tuesday at Harold D. Fayette School.

THE BUDGET

The district is proposing a budget of $127,094,754 for the 2010-11 school year, up 3.39 percent from the current school year budget of $122,928,913. The tax levy would rise to $95,696,902, 3.75 percent above the current $92,234,120.

The district it could not estimate the effect of the tax increase on the average house.

The proposed budget includes a contractual salary raise of 1.76 percent for teachers.

The budget proposal calls for a reduction of five instructional positions and the elimination of regular education summer school programs at the middle-school level.
