Better have Bush if you have McFadden
For those that own Raiders running back Michael Bush, the best bargain on Black Friday for you came with the news that Darren McFadden could miss a few more games. Bush is clearly a starting caliber running back but has been stuck behind McFadden.
Bush has rushed for at least 111 yards in each of his past four games, totaling two touchdowns in that span. He's coming off two consecutive weeks of 30 carries and is a must start against the Bears this week.
McFadden is never one to heal quickly and even if he's able to return in Week 13 or 14, he could be eased into a part-time role, considering he hasn't played since Oct. 23. McFadden missed at least three games in each of his first three seasons.
For those that own McFadden and didn't land Bush, use it as a lesson for next season. When you draft an injury-prone running back in the first two rounds, make sure you get his handcuff.
Good starts in Week 12:
Vince Young (Eagles, QB): Michael Vick didn't practice Friday and is likely out. Young started slowly against the Giants last week, and although he had three INTs, he passed for 258 yards and two TDs. He rushed for only 5 yards, but has the ability to contribute there, too. The Patriots rank last against the pass.
Cedric Benson (Bengals, RB): He is averaging just 3.8 yards per carry and depends on volume and a good matchup. Benson rushed for 121 yards with a TD in Week 1 against the Browns, who have allowed 657 yards rushing the last four games.
LeGarrette Blount (Buccaneers, RB): If your trading deadline hasn't passed, buy Blount. He's played limited snaps because he isn't in on passing downs and the Bucs have been trailing. He has a good matchup this week against the Titans and the abysmal Panthers run defense in Weeks 13 and 16.
Beanie Wells (Cardinals, RB): He is limited by a knee injury, but he looked good last week despite eight carries. The Rams rank last against the run.
Jonathan Stewart (Panthers, RB): He totaled 109 yards last week. The Colts rank 31st against the run, so this might be a week with double-digit carries. Teammate DeAngelo Williams is a flex play.
Antonio Brown (Steelers, WR): Has 39 targets the last four games with 26 catches for 346 yards with a TD. He's a big part of the offense.
Percy Harvin (Vikings, WR): He is listed as questionable with a rib injury, but is expected to play. With Adrian Peterson likely out, Harvin will get some carries, too.
Brandon Lloyd (Rams, WR): The Rams passing offense has struggled, but Lloyd is an excellent start. He has 69 targets the last five games and scored in three of four.
Riley Cooper (Eagles, WR): Jeremy Maclin is listed as doubtful and that would mean another start for Cooper against the Patriots' 32nd-ranked pass defense. Cooper had 12 targets last week and caught five passes for 75 yards with a TD.
