Big wrestling names on LI with weekend

If any local wrestling fans are looking for something to do this Saturday you might want to think about attending “Fanfest 2011” presented by Fight the World Wrestling.

Former WCW champion Diamond Dallas Page is the biggest name expected to attend. Fanfest also is going to turn the clocks back to 1998 with a DX reunion as former WWE tag team champions, the New Age Outlaws, and X-Pac are also expected to be in the house. If you’re of an ECW fan, don’t worry; ECW original Balls Mahoney will be there. I'm pretty sure he will bring a steel chair to the ring which is a staple of his hardcore wrestling style. 

Another interesting name that is expected to be there is NXT season two winner Kaval (better known on the indie scene as Low Ki). Kaval and the WWE mutually agreed on his release in December  2010. Kaval was born in Brooklyn and is currently back on the indie scene. Now, here's your chance to see him live. 

The event is Saturday, March 5th at Center Island Sports at 101 Union Ave. in Ronkonkoma starting at 2 p.m.
