The nonprofit Huntington Bicycle Club is gearing up for its 29th annual Gold Coast tour next weekend.

On Sunday, July 17, the club will offer five bike rides on the North Shore, ranging from 12.9 to 100 miles, for riders with a range of skill sets. All routes will begin and end in Greenlawn, at BAE Systems, 450 Pulaski Rd. The rides will have staggered start times, beginning at 7 a.m.
This year, for the first time, the tour has a sponsor -- Purolator International, a Jericho-based shipping and logistics company.

Registration for all rides except the 12.9-mile route is $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the event. For the 12.9-mile ride, registration is $20 in advance, $25 at the event.

For more information or to register for the tour, contact the club at www.hbcli.org. A portion of the registration fees will go to the Long Island Head Injury Association and the League of American Bicyclists.
