Bill de Blasio to appear on Colbert Wednesday night

Two days before Mayor Bill de Blasio heads abroad for a 10-day Italian vacation he will sit down with Stephen Colbert on "The Colbert Report."

On Monday, Colbert tweeted at the Mayor saying, "@BilldeBlasio I demand you come on my show! stop dodging me, Mr. Mayor!" to which the Mayor quickly responded, "Sure, @StephenAtHome. How about Wednesday?" in a cute publicity stunt meant to promote an already scheduled appearance. You can catch de Blasio on Colbert tonight at 11:30.
