Bloomberg blew a chance at jobs

Who really cares about horn sound control ["A quieter, gentler honk," News, May 16]? What we should care about is the fact that New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg chose Nissan to build the "taxi of tomorrow," and Nissan will build those taxis in Mexico.
If Bloomberg really cared for New York and the people he represents, he would have chosen Karsan USA to build the taxi. Karsan agreed to build an assembly plant in Brooklyn if selected. If Bloomberg had made the right choice, thousands of New Yorkers would have been put to work.
