(AP) — Bode Miller has posted the fastest time in the final downhill training prior to this weekend's races at Hahnenkamm.

The American finished the Streif course in 1 minute, 52.32 seconds Thursday to lead Didier Cuche of Switzerland by 0.12 seconds.

Miller captured his 32nd World Cup victory in Wengen last week but has never won the Kitzbuehel downhill race. His best result was second in 2008.

Slovenia's Andrej Sporn was 0.41 behind in third.

Last year's winner Didier Defago of Switzerland trailed Miller by 1.62 seconds in 17th place.

The 70th edition of the Hahnenkamm event starts with a super-G on Friday, followed by the downhill Saturday and a slalom Sunday.
