Bonnie Says: End of marriage isn't end of love

You and Lamar, then a star player on the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, tied the knot after a whirlwind, four-week romance. People said it wouldn't last and they were right -- it didn't. But it didn't end for the reasons they expected. It was only after two years of heart-rending attempts to get him help had failed that you threw in the towel, realizing that you had to save yourself. But just because you finally gathered the strength to leave Lamar doesn't mean that you stopped loving him. Neither did he stop loving you.
