Boys & Girls Club fundraiser in Bellport
The Boys & Girls Club of the Bellport Area will hold its annual Beach Ball fundraiser on June 25.
The event -- which raised more than $150,000 last year -- will be held at the waterfront home of Bellport resident Tom Sheridan. The Boys & Girls Club uses the fundraiser as one of its principal sources of revenue, said Jo Keim, a spokeswoman for the club.
The Beach Ball will include live and silent auctions for art, home decor and services, Keim said. Food and drinks will be available, and music will be provided by a disc jockey, Boys & Girls Club alumnus Max Salpetrier, Keim said.
The event will begin at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $125. Checks are payable to Boys & Girls Club of the Bellport Area, 471 Atlantic Ave., Bellport, N.Y. 11713. The club can also be reached by phone at 631-286-9090.
