Boys track: Farmingdale could repeat

LARGE SCHOOLS
Farmingdale has the capability to repeat as Class AAA champs thanks to Jason Pierre (jumps), Ghil Felva and Kenny Outing in the shot put and Michael Elizee and Jezeil Roman in the pole vault.
With Glen Forsythe (jumps), Derrick Ingram (sprints), Chris Armour and Nyder Chardonette in the hurdles, Uniondale will be back to its winning ways.
Baldwin has versatility with Ieshawn Johnson (shot put, discus), Jarek Babb (400, 800) and Justin Mahoney and Karl Desil (400, 400 hurdles).
MacArthur has senior leadership with Dan Archer (middle distance), Mike Lobardo (shot put, discus) and Mike Camacho (sprints).
East Meadow is led by Chris Garzia and Tom Ford (hurdles, jumps), Tom Milian (400 hurdles) and Andrew Jean (sprints).
Great Neck South, led by Daniel Siegel in the distance, Aaron Brown in the 400 and Andrew Henry and Brandon Brown in the jumps, should contend.
Andew Valenski (distance) and Nick DeLuna lead a talented Massapequa team. Calhoun's distance tandem of James Panetta and Tim Campbell should be tough to deal with.
Herricks will contend with Aakaash Pillalamarri (distance), Jack McGuire (800) and Bryce Balingit (jumps).
SMALL SCHOOLS
Westbury has distance star Owen Skeete, hurdler Romain Saint-Germain and shot putter Hugh O'Brien to lead the way.
Hewlett will contend with Neil Cohen (distance), Lamar Letts (400 hurdles, 400), Brian Durdaller (pole vault) and Kevin Dehaney (jumps).
Lynbrook has a senior-dominated crew with Travis Lock (high jump, sprints), John Chiulli (shot put), Ankush Mohile (110 hurdles) and Rich Bellusci (long jump).
Valley Stream North returns Thomas Bardabelias, Chris Edouard and Joe Rossi in middle distance and Joe Cafaro (hurdles) and Kendel Levy (shot put).
Manhasset returns Kyle Howell (high jump) and distance duo Charlie Morris and Stephen Bourguet.
Middle-distance specialists John Duffy and Lucas Pugliese and Peter Tucci (jumps) lead a talented Island Trees team.
Seaford returns distance-runner Matt Savino and hurdler Zack Zieniewicz.
Cold Spring Harbor will stay in the Class A mix with Nick Mosquin (400) and Tarquin Rattotti and Jonathan LaGuardia star in the pole vault.
LARGE SCHOOLS
Longwood has several talented sprinters in Joe Fuller, Joe Payton, Shane Cruz and Soba Vincent. Mark Jackson is a force in the high jump and sprints, and Donato Geraci is a strong distance runner.
Alex Saavedra and Phil Rascona (distance) and Greg Markfelder (high jump) will keep Sachem East in the mix.
Northport has a talented bunch with Lucas Hoffman (hurdles), Neil Yodice (sprints) and Anthony Shorey (shot put).
Smithtown East will be paced by distance runners Patrick Ginty, Rob Calamia, and Gavin Shulock and Jack Peterson, Don Bradshaw and Andrew Ward in sprints.
Dayne Savory (sprints), Rapheal Rother (400) and top hurdler Kadesh Roberts are back for Bay Shore, along with Angel Rosario (shot put, discus) for the Marauders.
Connetquot has a great distance duo in Tyler Murtha and Zach Krause.
State public schools indoor triple jump champ Ryan Satchell returns with sprinters Darrel Flores, Lammec Gerald and Tyree Webster for Central Islip.
Jarrick Ambrose (sprints), jumpers Wade Richardson, Desmond Guidroz and Justin Brown lead Copiague.SMALL SCHOOLS
Half Hollow Hills West has a stable of sprinters and middle-distance runners, including Dan McCord, Abdias Myrtil, Justin Connor, Justin Ma and Kyle Sammis.
Port Jefferson's strength lies in distance with Andrew Keresztes, Colin Conte, Colin Flanagan and Ryan Flanagan.
Shoreham-Wading River has distance men Kevin Sanders and John Lee and stanout high jumper Erik Anderson in the fold.
Amityville should be strong with hurdler Sancho Barrett, sprinters Ian Brown, Vincent Jackson and Jesus Nunez and jumper Core Carter.
With Brandon Reynolds (shot put) and Rob Schenke (hurdles), Kings Park shouldn't be counted out.
Ryan Colabella, a standout distance runner who set various personal marks during the indoor season, is expected to lead Hauppauge.CHSAA
St. Anthony's, the defending league and Intersectional champ, has an abundance of reasons to think it will repeat. Payton Hazzard and Tim Fiola will lead a strong middle-distance group, Tom Diliberto, Tom Flynn, Kevin Kreider and Frank Segreto are expected to excel in distance races, and Warner Cooley III, Colin Volpe, Adekola Adebite, and Gene Kum lead a strong sprint crew.
Cameron Black and Genis Guzman are the Friars' top hurdlers and jumpers. Micheal Brunoforte and Matt Pluhowski will contend in the pole vault.
Chaminade, the Intersectional indoor champion, has a fine mix of athletes, including Thomas Awad in distance races, Dan Ebanks in middle-distance races and Cody Israel in the jumps and sprints. Conor Simons is expected to be a force in the pole vault and pentathlon.
St. John the Baptist has a strong distance squad, led by Brandon Camenzuli, Matt Zampariello and a talented sprinter in Darius Samples. Hunter Burrell and Seitu Solomon (middle distance) are also expected to excel for the Cougars.
