Braelon's happy return
Third-year running back Braelon Allen took a Klubnik handoff, cut through the line and raced 31 yards down the right side for the touchdown on the Jets’ second series of the game. This was Allen’s first game since he suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 4 last year.
Allen was expected to be a big part of the offense last year and is looking to re-establish himself this season as Breece Hall’s backup. Hall had a clear path for a touchdown on the Jets’ first series, but he stumbled and fell.
