The last movie night in a summer series at Timberline Park in Brentwood will now be Friday at 7 p.m.

Rain forced organizers to reschedule the final installment of the Family Night Out Summer Series, which was originally scheduled for Sept. 23.

Residents will have the opportunity to watch “Despicable Me,” and enjoy free refreshments and family activities.

Movie nights in Brentwood are sponsored by the Town of Islip, Suffolk Police’s Third Precinct, People’s United Bank, the nonprofit Youth Enrichment Services and several local Neighborhood Watch groups, organizers said.
