Applications for play this fall on an artificial turf field at Brentwood State Park will be accepted starting Monday.

For the past three years, the state has offered the public use of the Brentwood State Park field, according to George Gorman Jr., deputy regional director for state parks.

The turf will be available for rental Mondays from Sept. 19 to Nov. 14 and Saturdays from Sept. 24 to Nov. 19. The cost is $200 per two-hour time slot plus $50 per hour if lights are needed, officials said.

Anyone interested in using the field, which is lined for both soccer and lacrosse, can submit a park use application by mail or in person to the state Office of Parks, 625 Belmont Ave., Babylon.
