Larry Nelson shot his age for a share of the first-round lead in the Champions Tour's SAS Championship in Cary, N.C. Nelson had a 6-under-par 66 to join Russ Cochran and Mark Mouland . . . Ilhee Lee of South Korea had a 6-under 65 that left her at 129 after two rounds, a stroke in front of Lexi Thompson (63) in the LPGA Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur . . . U.S. tops Jamaica

Graham Zusi and Jozy Altidore scored second-half goals to give the United States a 2-0 victory over Jamaica in Kansas City, Kan. The Americans, who clinched their seventh straight World Cup berth last month, clinched first place in their qualifying group with the win.

Djokovic, Nadal win

Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic struggled but advanced to the semifinals at the Shanghai Masters. The top-ranked Nadal beat Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka, 7-6 (10), 6-1, and Djokovic, the defending champion, needed nearly 21/2 hours to rally past France's Gael Monfils, 6-7 (4), 6-2, 6-4.-- AP
