"Rocky IV" and "Red Sonja" star Brigitte Nielsen was recovering at home Thursday after being hospitalized when a car in which she was riding was rear-ended by an alleged drunken driver.

"She is back home. She's sore and resting," her representative told TMZ.

Nielsen, 48, was a passenger in a 2006 Porsche Cayenne in Los Angeles Wednesday night around 10:20 p.m. when the car was struck from behind by a Toyota Matrix, knocking it into the car ahead of it. A woman driving the Toyota did not pass a police breath analyzer test, TMZ said.

Nielsen's representative told E! News the Porsche's air bags deployed. Nielsen was taken by ambulance to a hospital, X-rayed and CT-scanned, and released after being treated for a bump on the head.

"Everything is fine," her rep told E! "Brigitte has a big bump on her forehead and is resting at home. She is sore and in shock." The Toyota's driver, he added, had an 11-year-old child in the car with her.

Nielsen's husbands have included Sylvester Stallone from 1985 to 1987, after which she had a son with New York Jets defensive end Mark Gastineau. During the 2000s, she appeared on reality TV shows in Britain, Germany and Denmark, and on the U.S. series "The Surreal Life" and "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."
