Britney Spears extends Vegas show as she recovers from injury
Injured Spears extends residency
Pop star Britney Spears Tuesday revealed that her fall onstage during a Las Vegas concert on April 29 injured her more badly than at first appeared. "I tore some ligaments," Spears, 33, said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where she wore a black ankle cast on her left foot. Then, declaring, "The show must go on," she announced she is extending by three months her residency at The Axis Theater in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Spears had told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Monday: "I'm wearing a boot. [My ankle is] sprained really bad. It's bruised up -- I tore my ligament. It's very painful."
