Brookhaven officials to unveil new jobs website
Brookhaven officials and business leaders on Tuesday will unveil a new website that will provide information about jobs within Suffolk County’s largest town.
The website — JobHaven.org — will be “an interactive resource for businesses to post employment opportunities and to help people find jobs in Brookhaven Town,” town spokesman Jack Krieger said in a statement.
The website is set to go live Tuesday and includes links to job postings in sectors such as health care, technology, education and finance.
Brookhaven Supervisor Mark Lesko, Councilman Tim Mazzei and Rep. Tim Bishop (D-Southampton) will unveil the website at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at Brookhaven Town Hall at One Independence Hill in Farmingville.
Representatives from the Brookhaven Business Advisory Council will also attend.
Lesko will “provide a comprehensive demonstration of all the features and benefits” of the new website, Krieger’s statement said.
