Brookhaven pol to give tutorial on how to challenge tax assessments

Brookhaven Deputy Supervisor Dan Panico will teach residents how to grieve their property tax assessments today at 6 p.m. at the Manorville Fire Department.
“It is a wonderful program where residents who come will be given the material and knowledge on how to grieve taxes,” Panico said yesterday.
Brookhaven tax assessor James Ryan will join the Republican councilman during the “How to Grieve Your Taxes” seminar at the firehouse, located at 14 Silas Carter Rd.
The two officials will hold a second seminar at 6 p.m. on April 3 at the Mastic Fire Department, 1080 Mastic Rd.
