The Brookhaven broom continues to sweep across town, as Supervisor Mark Lesko will announce Tuesday at a news conference on Champlain Street near Squires Avenue that the next Operation Clean Sweep will be in Port Jefferson Station.

Along with town Councilman Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld, Lesko will announce that the town’s Quality of Life Task Force will hit the area bordered by Susan Road and Clinton Avenue, Bicycle Path, Old Town Road and Terryville Road.

Brookhaven employees will fix street lamps, pick up litter, install new street signs and perform other cleaning activities.

The town has held four other Operation Clean Sweeps in Selden, Rocky Point, Mastic and Medford.
