At its May 19 meeting, the zoning board:

Centereach: Granted Clifford Verblar permission for proposed second-story residence addition, south side of Harrison Avenue, east of Polk Avenue (subject to obtaining building permit for rear deck).

Center Moriches: Granted Mark and Evelyn Colleran a front-yard setback variance from Reeves Road for proposed roofed-over porch exceeding 4 feet by 8 feet permitted (6 feet by 28 feet), southeast corner of Rigby Street and Reeves Road.

Farmingville: Granted Ronald Brockmann a front-yard setback variance from Leeds Boulevard for proposed reconstruction of existing roofed over porch exceeding 4 feet by 8 feet permitted (5 feet by 21 feet); height variance and front-yard setback variance from Nicolls Road for existing 16-foot-high detached garage (14-feet permitted); also, a height variance for existing 6-foot fence in front yard along Horseblock Place and Nicolls Road located in the required 30-feet radius of the apex of intersection, southeast corner of Horseblock Place and Leeds Boulevard (subject to stipulation that there be no habitable space (no plumbing or heating) in detached garage and same to be reflected on Certificate of Occupancy).

Holtsville: Granted Michael and Debra Lord 8-foot rear-yard and 8-foot side-yard variances for proposed in-ground swimming pool, north side of Peachtree Court, west of Hickory Hill Drive.

Patchogue: Granted Lynn Avenoso a rear-yard variance for proposed one-family dwelling; also, a front-yard setback variance for proposed second-story wood deck (existing dwelling to be demolished), southwest corner of Bay Road and Cedar Lane (subject

to requirements of Chapter 81 - Wetlands & Waterways).
