At its March 31 meeting, the board will decide:
Centereach: William Brown requests minimum and total side-yard variances for existing enclosed cellar entrance, north side of Unity Drive, west of Thornwood Road.
East Patchogue: Kenneth Stuart requests a front-yard setback variance from Anthony Street for existing deck in front yard; also rear-year and height variances for existing 18.1-foot high, 665.2-square-foot detached garage (14 feet high, 600 square feet permitted), southeast corner of Anthony Street and Thompson Street).
East Patchogue: Josephine Wales requests a rear-yard variance for existing one-story residence addition (sunroom), south side of Sills Road, west of Orchid Road.
Fire Island Pines: Edwin Scholhafer requests rear- and side-yard variances for existing pool deck addition; minimum and total side-yard variances for existing second-story residence addition, wood walk with steps, second pool deck addition, hot tub, second-story balcony, shed, two-story glass stairwell, second-story deck and deck addition; also, permission to exceed 35 percent lot occupancy permitted (50.98 percent), north side of Bay Walk, east of Beach Hill Walk.
Medford: Ziqiri Barolli requests a front-yard setback variance for existing roofed-over porch exceeding 4 feet by 8 feet permitted (6.4 feet by 18.8 feet), north side of Greenport Avenue, west of Oregon Avenue.
Patchogue: William Beaten and Wanda Searles request permission for proposed one-story residence addition creating entire first-floor area exceeding 1,000 square feet permitted (1,175 square feet); a height variance for proposed second-story addition to detached garage (18-feet high proposed, 14-feet high permitted); also, a side-yard variance for proposed deck, south side of Terry Road, west of Route 112.
Stony Brook: Barbara Heck requests a rear-yard variance for proposed one-story residence addition, west side of Hopewell Drive, north of Hastings Drive.
