At its April 28 meeting, the zoning board:

Centereach: Granted Edward and Valery Sorvillo a front-yard setback variance for existing deck exceeding the 4 feet by 8 feet permitted (10 feet by 24.6 feet); a side-yard variance for existing detached shed located in the side yard; also, rear-yard and side-yard variances for proposed in-ground swimming pool, east side of Cayuga Avenue, north of Summit Street.

Medford: Granted Devindra Sukhu permission for proposed detached shed located in the front yard (Long Island Expressway

North Service Road); also, a height variance for existing 6-foot high fence located in the front yard along property line, northwest corner of Long Island Expressway North Service Road and Lincoln Road.

Miller Place: Granted Brian Dillon a rear-yard variance for proposed two-story residence addition and cellar entrance (Bilco doors), south side of Cedar Drive, west of Ravine Road.

Miller Place: Granted Stephen Tracy a height variance for existing 6-foot fence located in front yard (Tallmadge Trail), northwest corner of Tallmadge Trail.

Port Jefferson Station: Granted Stuart Fields a front-yard setback variance for existing roofed-over porch exceeding the

4 feet by 8 feet permitted (5.4 feet by 18.2-feet); also, a rear-yard variance for existing covered patio, south side of Sterling Street, east

of Broadway.

Shoreham: Granted Richard Cox

a front-yard setback variance from Michelle Drive for proposed roofed-over porch exceeding the 4 feet

by 8 feet permitted (8 feet by 37.8 feet); also, a height variance for existing 6-foot high fence located

in front yard (Ridge Road), west

side of Michelle Drive, south of

Northumberland Drive.
