Bryan Danielson coming to LI

Fresh off his controversial WWE release, one of wrestling's most talked about competitors, Bryan Danielson, has signed for a pair of matches here on Long Island later this summer.

The New York Wrestling Connection - Long Island's most established independent wrestling promotion - announced yesterday that the former "Daniel Bryan" will appear on its August 14 and August 28 events.

On Saturday night August 14, Danielson well take on NYWC champion Dimitrios Papadon at the Elks Lodge on Rte. 112 in Port Jefferson.

Then on the 28th, Danielson will face "Maverick" Tony Nese at the NYWC Sportatorium in Deer Park.
