The Kings Park school district budget and concerns about development projects are among the topics to be discussed tonight at a meeting of the Kings Park Civic Association.

The group is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. at the community room at Kings Park High School, 200 Route 25A. The meeting is open to the public.

Kings Park school Superintendent Susan Agruso is expected to discuss next year’s school budget, according to a meeting announcement released by the civic association.

The association also plans to discuss zoning issues in an industrial area in Kings Park. Residents have expressed concern to state and town officials about industrial parks that operate on properties that had been zoned for residential uses.

The meeting agenda includes discussions of several developments. Among them are a planned 36-unit affordable housing project on Indian Head Road and a planned modular-home development on Old Northport and Lawrence roads.
