Business group to hold job fair Nov. 3 in Elmont

The Elmont Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its second annual job fair on Nov. 3, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Elmont Memorial High School at 55 Ridge Rd.
There will be a range of companies at the job fair, including banking, finance, retail, industrial supplies, real estate development and insurance. Participants last year included Bethpage Federal Credit Union, AFLAC, Astoria Federal Savings, UPS, Fastenal Co., New York Life Insurance Co., Sleepy's, New York Racing Association, Signature Homes Ltd. and Geico.
Employees will be looking for all types of applicants. The job fair is free to job seekers.
