Cade Klubnick debuts with scoring drive
Rookie quarterback Cade Klubnik led a scoring drive on his first series in the NFL.
Starting for Geno Smith, who was a late scratch due to foot soreness, Klubnik completed 4 of 6 passes for 51 yards on the Jets’ first possession of their preseason game against Tampa.
The Jets had a first-and-goal from the 9, but Klubnik was sacked on second down and overthrew Garrett Wilson on third. Cade York kicked a 27-yard field goal to put the Jets on the board.
