Among them was Canon USA, the giant Lake Success-based imaging company, which came up with some unusual attractions for 50 children of its employees, namely the presence of a hawk, a bunny and a turtle.

"It gave the kids an opportunity to have some fun," said Canon executive vice president SeymourLiebman. On a more serious note, the kids, ages 7 to 11, attended an Advertising 101 class, where they made their own ice cream flavors and then came up with a brand name for their concoctions.
