Carlos Taveras, teen accused of spraying liquid in bus driver's face, arrested
A 17-year-old Bronx man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly spraying a bus driver in the face with a liquid earlier this month, police said.
Carlos Taveras was charged with assault for the May 3 incident. The MTA bus driver was stopped at the corner of Isham Street and Sherman Avenue in Inwood -- part of his route -- when Taveras allegedly approached the driver's window at about 3:50 a.m.
Taveras could not be reached for comment and it could not be determined if he had retained an attorney.
