65thCARMELA (MELA) AND FRANK ABATE of Dominican Village in Amityville were wed June 15, 1949, at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Niagara Falls, N.Y. They celebrated at a party with family and friends. Frank is retired from North Babylon school district. Mela retired from Abraham & Straus in Huntington. They have two children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

60thBETTY AND BOB PURDY of Meredith, New Hampshire, formerly of Port Jefferson, were wed June 5, 1954, at the Methodist Church in upstate Canandaigua. A family celebration is planned as well as a river cruise in Europe. Bob retired from Farm Family Insurance Co. on Long Island. They have five children and 16 grandchildren.

50thMARYANN AND ROBERT BROSNAN of Selden were wed June 6, 1964, at St. Matthias R.C. Church in Queens. They celebrat- ed at a brunch with friends and family at Lom-

bardi's on the Sound in Port Jefferson. Robert is retired from LILCO in Brentwood. Maryann is a retired controller. They have two children and two grandchildren.

45thBARBARA AND MIKE SCHNEIDER of Bay Shore were wed May 18, 1969. They celebrated with a party at home and also on a trip to Florida. They have three children and five grandchildren.

30thDONNA AND THOMAS FAZIO of Oakdale were wed June 23, 1984 at St. Luke's Church in Brentwood. They celebrated on a cruise to the Bahamas and Key West, Florida. The celebration continued at a Long Island Ducks game with their three daughters and four grandchildren.

25thLISA AND SAL HAZEL of Kings Park were wed June 4, 1989 at the historic St. Mary Star of the Sea R.C. Church in Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn. They celebrated with a family dinner. A family vacation is planned. The couple were high school sweethearts. They have two children.
