Don Wright editorial cartoon

Don Wright editorial cartoon Credit: Don Wright

The cartoon by Don Wright [Opinion, March 26] -- saying that 38 percent of Americans failed a citizenship test that immigrants must take -- shows a lack of respect for the American people that we don't need.

Americans are tired of immigration and everything that goes with it. Immigrants are taking our jobs; they get health care and special schooling, and now Newsday makes fun of us.

I think the cartoonist took a cheap shot at Americans.
