Tristan Thompson scored 27 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and gave Cleveland the lead with a tip-in with 1:11 to play Monday night as the Cavaliers beat the Nets, 105-100, at the Prudential Center. Kyrie Irving added 26 points and seven assists for Cleveland. Deron Williams scored 28 points and newcomer Gerald Wallace had 27 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Nets.
Celtics 79, Hawks 76: Ray Allen's 19 points and Kevin Garnett's 16 points and eight assists led visiting Boston
Bulls 85, Magic 59: Carlos Boozer had 24 points and 13 rebounds and John Lucas scored 20 points off the bench for visiting Chicago. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau earned his 100th victory faster than any other coach in NBA history. Dwight Howard had 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Magic.
76ers 105, Bobcats 80: Jrue Holiday's 20 points and six assists led visiting Philadelphia.
Rockets waive Fisher
The Houston Rockets waived point guard Derek Fisher less than a week after acquiring him in a trade with the Lakers. Houston picked up a 2012 first-round pick from the Lakers and sent Jordan Hill to Los Angeles in the deal. -- AP
