The Long Island chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving on Sunday will hold its 30th annual candlelight vigil at Farmingdale State College in remembrance of those killed or injured by drunken drivers.

The ceremony will feature music from New York State Troopers Emerald Society Bagpipers and soloist Kathryn Burke, a Farmingdale alumna and staff member. A color guard will be presented by Boy Scout Troop 329 of Bayport.

Afterward, guests will place carnations on the college’s Wall of Remembrance, which bears the names of more than 300 victims of drunken driving.

The ceremony begins at 1 p.m. at Roosevelt Hall’s Little Theater. For more information, contact Mary Scala, victim services specialist, at 631-547-6233, ext. 306.
