Chad Billingsley pitched eight dominant innings and the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers matched their highest-scoring game of the season, routing the Pittsburgh Pirates, 11-0, last night.

The Dodgers have won five of six, pushing them to the top of the NL West. The Pirates have lost five of six.

Luis Cruz tied career highs for hits and RBIs with three each. Hanley Ramirez added three hits, two RBIs and two runs as the Dodgers beat the Pirates for the eighth straight time dating to last season.

Billingsley (9-9) won his fifth consecutive start

Giants 6, Nationals 1: Madison Bumgarner (13-7) pitched a five-hitter and Brandon Belt had three hits and three RBIs to lead the host Giants in a matchup of division leaders.

Cardinals 8, D-backs 2: Rookie Joe Kelly (3-5) pitched into the seventh inning and host St. Louis got home runs from Matt Holliday and Jon Jay.

Braves 6, Padres 0: Tim Hudson (12-4) combined with three relievers for a five-hit shutout and Martin Prado hit a three-run homer for host Atlanta.

Phillies 1, Marlins 0: Kyle Kendrick pitched (5-9) five-hit ball for seven innings and Jimmy Rollins homered off Josh Johnson to start the game as visiting Philadelphia manager Charlie Manuel earned his 700th win. The Marlins have not scored in 27 innings.

Rockies 8, Brewers 6: Carlos Gonzalez had four hits for host Colorado.

Astros 10, Cubs 1: Brett Wallace and Fernando Martinez each hit three-run homers for visiting Houston.

Mariners 3, Rays 2: Eric Thames' two-out single in the bottom of the ninth gave host Seattle the victory and snapped Tampa Bay's seven-game winning streak

Angels 9, Indians 6: Zack Greinke (1-1) won for the first time in four starts since being acquired by the host Angels and Albert Pujols homered and drove in four runs.

White Sox 3, Blue Jays 2: Jose Quintana (5-2) snapped a five-start winless streak for visiting Chicago.

Tigers 8, Twins 4: Miguel Cabrera became the first player to reach 100 RBIs this season with a run-scoring single for visiting Detroit.

Royals 5, Athletics 0: Jeremy Guthrie allowed only three singles in seven innings and ran his scoreless streak to 15 innings for host Kansas City.
