The Liberty may have played the Fever last night, but it was Tina Charles who was burning up as the Liberty cruised to an 86-79 victory at the Garden.

Charles led all scorers with a season-high 21 points, and she has now led the Liberty in scoring in all three games they have played this season.

The Liberty (2-1), who shot 49% from the field last night, will look to continue their hot shooting when they host the Mercury tomorrow night in what will be the second game of their four-game homestand.
