Cheap Hertz one-way rentals from Florida

Good news for Florida snowbirds heading back north this spring - Hertz is offering one-way car rentals with unlimited mileage and no drop-off fees for rates as low as $5 a day between April 24 and June 12.

The deal is good for up to 14 days on economy and compact vehicles picked up at any Hertz location in the Sunshine State with drop-off options in most states, including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut (California and Nevada are excluded).

There are some restrictions and extra costs: Taxes and other fees are not included and cars must be returned to participating Hertz corporate locations. Reference rate code "DRV5" - reservations online at hertz.com or by phone, 800-654-3131.
