Singer Chris Brown has publicly apologized to his on-and-off girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, after having expressed disdain for her onstage in a concert Friday and then posting an Instagram message castigating her.
"Being young and dumb is one of my strong suits and [I am] emotional at best," Brown, 25, said in a follow-up post. "I love hard and react impulsively when I'm hurt at times. I don't think social media is a place to air out or hash out personal problems" and that he felt bad for doing so, he wrote. "So I AM APOLOGIZING. . . . Everybody know I love that girl. I don't care how my image may look to the public because I'm still gonna be the best at what I do. I just want baby girl to know I apologize!"
Tran had posted her own message in response to Brown's onstage comments, but her Instagram account later disappeared. "I did not delete my Instagram," she tweeted Sunday. "I'm way too addicted lol. Soooooomeone reported my page as an impersonation and now it's disabled."
