Chris Deptulski singled in the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to lead East Rockaway (1-0) in a 1-0 win over Carle Place in League BC yesterday. Patrick Kelly threw six shutout innings with seven strikeouts.

Oceanside 5, Farmingdale 0: Jake Santamaria pitched six innings of no-hit ball before allowing a hit to the second batter in the seventh for Oceanside (1-0) in League AA-I. He had 10 strikeouts. Chris Hood had an RBI double and Brian Boschert drove in a run with a squeeze bunt and made a key play at second base in the third.

Seaford 2, Mineola 1: Lucas Hall threw a two-hitter, striking out 13 and walking none. Nick Iadevaio's home run in the top of the seventh broke up Hall's perfect game. RBI singles by Sean Breheny and Frank Pristera in the bottom of the sixth gave Seaford a 2-0 lead. Danny Colantonio went 2-for-3 with a single, a double, two stolen bases and a run scored for Seaford (6-1) in League A-IV.

St. Mary's 4, Holy Trinity 3: Albert Estwick's walk scored Chris Dryll in the bottom of the seventh to give St. Mary's its first league win since 2011, coach Brandon Kurz said. Alvin Melendez pitched a complete game, allowing no earned runs and striking out eight for St. Mary's (1-1) in CHSAA.

Longwood 1, Commack 0: Andruw Gazzola scored the winning run on Mitch Gregorovich's sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh to lead Longwood (2-2) in League I. Gazzola tossed a three-hitter and struck out three.

Patchogue-Medford 1, Brentwood 0: Zach Genaway singled in Andy Garcia in the top of the seventh and Nick Clemente pitched a two-hitter with one walk and five strikeouts for P-M (4-3).

SOFTBALL

Massapequa 5, Baldwin 4: Emily Gadta hit a walk-off two-run homer for Massapequa (2-3) in a Conference AA-I/AA-II crossover. Amanda Considine hit a two-run homer for Massapequa in the fourth to tie the game at 2 and Krista Carcaterra allowed two earned runs and struck out 11 in a three-hitter.

Commack 2, Patchogue-Medford 1: Junior Christina Rayfield hit a walk-off home run for Commack (5-1) in League I. She went 2-for-3 and scored the only two runs for the Cougars. Rayfield scored on an RBI triple by eighth-grader Gianna Venuti in the second inning.

North Babylon 5, Smithtown West 4: Stephanie Dulgokencky went 1-for-2 with the winning RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning and made a diving catch with a runner on first base in the seventh inning to help preserve the lead for North Babylon (5-1) in League II. Theresa Cardello pitched seven innings with three strikeouts to pick up the win and Brianna Klaus went 2-for-3 with a run and a double

Hauppauge 7, West Babylon 6: Catherina Vaughan hit a walk-off solo home run to left centerfield to lead Hauppauge (5-1) in League III. Vaughan went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBIs and a stolen base.

Kellenberg 11, St. Mary's 1: Amanda Riveira pitched a five-inning no-hitter, striking out 10 and walking two for Kellenberg (3-1) in CHSAA. Alexa Russell went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a single, two RBIs and three runs scored. Kelly Rasulo finished 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.
