Christina Tiongson, a senior at Our Lady of Mercy Academy in <a href="/topics/Syosset%2C_NY">Syosset</a>, has been dancing since she was four years old. She has participated in several training programs such as the Rockette Summer Dance Intensive. As Vice-President of the Mercy Dance Company, and its former Jazz and Tap Captain, she honed her skills as a choreographer, creating jazz, tap and ballet pieces for both its senior and junior dance companies.

 A member of her school’s “Principal’s List” each semester for the past three years, Tina is also a member of&nbsp;the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society.&nbsp; In college, she intends to combine her love of science and math with the pursuit of an engineering degree and plans to continue dancing as well.&nbsp;&nbsp;
