Two doubles pairs from Long Island placed at the CHSAA individual tennis championships last weekend to qualify for the state championships, which will be held in Latham from Nov. 2-4.

Cate Soccodato and Tori Courtney of Our Lady of Mercy, and Britany Coscio and Asia Taylor of St. Anthony’s occupied the first and second doubles slots, respectively. The rest of the results are listed below.

First place: Yuka Lin (Mary Louis)

Second place: Lisa Marchelska (Mary Louis)

Third place: Lisa Elie (St. Francis Prep)

First place: Cate Soccodato and Tori Courtney (Our Lady of Mercy)

Second place: Britany Coscio and Asia Taylor (St. Anthony's)

Third place: Paula Faltynowicz and Nicole Holloran (St. Francis Prep.)
