1. St. Anthony's (9-1)
The Friars had about as good a week as is possible, coming off the crushing loss to Maryland's Bryn Mawr. St. Anthony's beat John Carroll (Md.), handled CHSAA archrival Sacred Heart, and topped Garden City - all nationally-ranked teams - last week. Annie Heagerty totaled 15 points and Tori Holland made 36 saves in the wins. St. Anthony's is now ranked third in the LaxPower poll.
2. Sacred Heart (12-1)
The Spartans showed no lingering effects of last week's loss to St. Anthony's, winning their next two. They beat Mt. Sinai, 16-15, in overtime on Monday. Maeve Quinn's goal with 2:19 left in the first overtime held up and Sacred Heart beat the defending Long Island Class C champs. The Spartans are ranked 25th in the country, according to LaxPower.
3. Kellenberg (5-4)
They bounced back from a loss to St. Anthony's with a 16-9 win over Holy Trinity last week. Sarah Croutier scored six goals in the win. The Firebirds are 3-3 in league and remain tied with St. John the Baptist for third place, though Kellenberg would hold the head-to-head tiebreaker.
4. St. John the Baptist (5-4)
The Cougars had their three-game win streak broken on Monday, falling 13-12 to Comsewogue. Morgan Jaycox scored five goals in the loss. Before that, SJB enjoyed dominant wins over Plainview JFK, Our Lady of Mercy and Holy Trinity.
5. Long Island Lutheran (8-1)
The Crusaders have stormed through their IPPSAL competition and are now 5-0 in league. In addition, they've had some wins against CHSAA teams, including a 17-15 victory over St. Dominic last Friday. LuHi followed that up with Monday's 17-15 win over Rye's School of the Holy Child. Nicole Sinacori scored six goals in each game.
