1. St. Anthony's (4-0)
Another challenge, another victory. The Friars topped Chatham of New Jersey, 16-12, on Saturday, and made it look easy at some points (St. Anthony's had a 12-4 lead early in the second half). Stephanie Paloscio had four goals and three assists, Maggie Bill added two goals and three assists, and Tori Holland made 11 saves for the Friars.
2. Sacred Heart (4-0)
The Spartans improved to 4-0 last week with yet another non-league win, this time a 16-15 comeback against Nassau Class C champ North Shore. Maggie Comiskey scored the winner with 6:20 remaining. Maeve Quinn had three goals and five assists, and Becky Conto scored four goals to lead Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart travels south this week for a three-game stretch against some of Florida's best teams - all ranked in LaxPower's top 100. From Tuesday-Thursday, the Spartans will face Lake Brantley, Vero Beach (ranked 19th), and Bishop Moore.
3. Kellenberg (2-1)
The Firebirds jump up a spot after last week's 14-9 win over St. John the Baptist. Sarah Croutier had four goals and two assists, and Taylor Hayes made seven saves in the win.
4. St. John the Baptist (2-1)
On the flip side, the Cougars drop down one. They were coming off a 20-8 win over Friends Academy but slipped up against Kellenberg. Kaitlyn Montalbano had two goals and two assists in the loss.
5. Long Island Lutheran (4-1)
They won their fourth straight last week, beating Portledge 19-7 on April 3. Carolyn Dottino had five goals and four assists, and Danielle Sinacori had five goals and an assist for the Crusaders. LuHi is averaging 18.2 goals per game.
