Clapton, Chris Martin join Sandy benefit
Clapton joins Sandy benefit at MSGEric Clapton and Coldplay's Chris Martin have signed onto next Wednesday's 12.12.12 benefit at Madison Square Garden to benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund's efforts to help victims of superstorm Sandy, Newsday's Glenn Gamboa reports. Organizers also announced yesterday that the concert will air live on 34 networks -- ranging from Fuse to the Cooking Channel, from Palladia to the Military History Channel, as well as WLNY and WLIW. The concert will be available to more than 1 billion people worldwide on television, as well as on Clear Channel radio and the Internet.
