Clinton, Obama grabbing Republican ideas

Regarding "A taxing test: Mixed views as Senate preps for preliminary vote" [News, Dec. 13], I thought I was dreaming. Did I see Democrat Bill Clinton and Democratic President Barack Obama appearing to endorse the tax cuts of Republican George W. Bush?
Both Democrats have spent their lives denouncing such tax cuts - for their many injustices. I guess only a 9.8 percent unemployment rate and failing economic policies would do that.
Next time perhaps President Obama might consider asking Mr. Bush to appear with him. Might as well get it right from the horse's mouth.
