College fair coming to North Babylon

Suffolk County Legis. DuWayne Gregory (D-Amityville) will host a free college fair in North Babylon next Thursday to assist potential students as they explore higher-education options.
The event is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. at the Spangle Drive Senior Center, 438 Spangle Dr. Counselors and admission representatives from two- and four-year colleges and universities will be available to speak with visitors.
Representatives from Free Application For Federal Student Aid and the state’s 529 College Savings Program will also be present. At 8 p.m., Tara Buckley, of TE Buckley Communication Services, will discuss resume building, interview preparation and skill development.
