Cops: Driver going 120 mph faces DWI charge
A Bronx man has been arrested after Nassau police said he drove 120 mph on the Long Island Expressway while intoxicated.
Mychal J. Ferguson, 23, was driving a 1999 Acura west on the LIE near Exit 40 when a Nassau highway-patrol officer used a laser to clock Ferguson traveling at 120 mph early Saturday, police said.
The officer stopped Ferguson six miles later and determined he was intoxicated, police said.
Ferguson was arrested and charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, driving while intoxicated and a number of other vehicle and traffic violations, police said.
Ferguson was arraigned on Saturday.
