A group of Good Samaritans pulled an injured woman from a burning car in North Amityville Saturday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

Angiolina Mancuso, 64, of Eastport Northport, was driving a 1992 Buick on Sunrise Highway when she crashed into a car parked on Sunrise Highway at 4:24 p.m.

Police say Mancuso injured her ankle and leg and could not get out of her car.

Three or four Good Samaritans, including Deris Medlock of Brentwood, pulled Mancuso to safety, police said.

Shortly after she was removed, the car was fully engulfed in flames.

Mancuso was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center.
