Cops: Hicksville Metro PCS store held up

Nassau police said they are on the look out for two men who robbed a Metro PCS store in Hicksville Monday.

Police said two men entered the Metro PCS store at 55 Broadway at 1:30 p.m. and demanded money.

The first subject was described as a male wearing a bandana over his face, and displaying a black, semi-automatic handgun. The second subject was described as male wearing a bandana over his face and a hat.

An unidentified male employee of the store, 55, was also robbed. He lay on the floor while the first subject removed an unknown amount of cash from the register and cash from the victim.

The suspects then fled on foot southbound on Broadway. There were no injuries reported and the investigation is continuing.
