Nassau police said they're searching for two armed men who held up a Garden City Park restaurant early Saturday morning.

The men entered the Port Cafe on Jericho Turnpike at about 3:55 a.m. and announced a holdup, before the two took an undetermined amount of cash from the register, police said.

The two fled on foot west on Jericho Turnpike, police said.

One suspect was described as in his 20s, over 6 feet, 2 inches tall, wearing a white and black bandanna over his face, sunglasses, a black jacket and gray pants, and carrying a full-sized shotgun. The other man was described as in his 20s, about 5 feet,7 inches tall, wearing a green bandanna over his face, sunglasses, a green pilot-style jacket and a baseball cap. Police said he also carried a large black semiautomatic handgun.

The five patrons and two employees inside the establishment were uninjured.

Police ask anyone with information on this incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers anonymously at 800-244-TIPS.
