He told police his name was Urbano Del Cid Cordoba and also gave them an "incorrect" date of birth, police said.

Southampton Town police said officers stopped Hector D. Castillo, 27, of Westhampton Beach Sunday at 2:44 a.m. on Shore Road in Hampton Bays - after he was observed failing to maintain his lane on southbound Springville Road. A field sobriety test indicated Castillo was intoxicated, police said.

But during processing on the DWI charge, police said Castillo told them his name was Urbano Del Cid Cordoba. He also gave them a fake birth date, they said.

A background check revealed Castillo's real name - and that he has a prior conviction for DWI, police said.

Castillo was charged with felony DWI and false personation, as well as failing to maintain lane, failing to signal turn and unlicensed operation, police said.

He is scheduled for arraignment Monday in Southampton Town Justice Court.
