Police said this woman entered the Chase Bank at 169 Orinoco Dr. in Brightwaters, handed the teller a note demanding cash and then left with an unspecified amount of money. (April 4, 2012) Credit: SCPD

Suffolk County's Major Case Investigations Unit released photographs Wednesday of a woman who robbed a bank in Brightwaters, police said.

A woman entered the Chase Bank at 169 Orinoco Dr. at about 11:48 a.m., handed the teller a note demanding cash and then left with an unspecified amount of cash, police said.

There were no injuries and the woman fled on foot, police said.
